Meet Namya Joshi
Hi! I’m Namya Joshi, a changemaker and proud alumna of Sat Paul Mittal School, India. I am the official Minecraft Student Ambassador by Microsoft, passionate about using STEM, game-based learning, and technology for social good.
Driven by my motto #EachOneTeachTen, I have spent the past six years designing and delivering free coding and digital skills workshops for over 20,000 teachers and students, especially girls, across India and globally. I also mentor young changemakers to start their own coding clubs and lead impactful projects in their communities.
Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology at JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Finland, where I continue to expand my knowledge in technology, innovation, and global collaboration while furthering my mission of creating impact through STEM and digital education.
My work focuses on raising awareness of global issues and finding solutions through innovative platforms like Minecraft, storytelling, and digital creativity.

I proudly serve as a board and advisory member for several international educational organizations, championing youth voice, innovation, and equity in education.
We tend to think of global learning experience as something acquired through global visits. I got an opportunity to become a member in many global projects that have not only taught me empathy but also helped me to explore my technical skills and gain awareness of the world beyond. All these projects were interdisciplinary with focus on Sustainable Development Goals. I was the active participant of these projects like Everyday Kindness, No Poverty and Zero Hunger, Buncee Buddies Earth Day Project, #DIY4EARTH, Innovation Project, Climate Action Project, Say No To Plastic, converted tough lessons into STEM using MINECRAFT.
My Hobbies
I am an orator, dramatist, dancer, writes poetry, sketch artist, yoga player, skater, swimmer, badminton, basketball player and a voracious reader.
My favorite quote
Stay true to yourself, yet always open to learn, Work hard and never give up your dreams, even if nobody else believes
My Motto
I believe in #EachOneTeachTen and with this motto I have trained teachers and students in my region, country and across the globe on the power of Minecraft, makecode, Python and other ICT Tools .
